Kitten Tots has been established to operate alongside All Saints’ Nursery "Kittens Class" to offer additional education and childcare places for children as soon as they are eligible to access their free nursery place (i.e. the term after their third birthday).
All Saints’ Nursery is an established Staffordshire County Council school designated nursery class offering 26 part-time places. Kitten Tots is run on the same premises through the School’s Governing Body with a limited number of part-time places (approximately 8). The children will receive the same high quality education and care whether they are registered as ‘maintained nursery’ or ‘governor run’ nursery children. The children will be educated and cared for together using the same facilities and resources, working with the same staff and receiving the same learning opportunities. Additional hours are available at a cost to parents (see fees/charges policy) regardless of which provision they attend. Together they provide families with accessible, affordable, high quality education and childcare which offers further provision for those families who require additional childcare. Children are admitted to Kitten Tots the term after their third birthday in January and again in April, if any spaces remain. We can offer funded (free) places for 15 hours each week either in Kittens or Kitten Tots during school term time, which can be taken flexibly.
